| Mya adores this book and reads it all the time. She loves the part where the dogs chase the cats-MEOW. How fun. Mya read the book aloud to her classmates. We all loved the book so much we read it again and everyone was able to read parts of the book together. We loved the rhymes and pictures. Thanks, Rock Star Mya. |
Today students enjoyed the letter Nn and competing a guided drawing of a narwhal. We learned that the narwhal is sometimes called the unicorn of the sea. The horn of the narwhal is a giant tooth.
Students enjoyed music, snack and centers.
Today we researched the moose. We watched a powerpoint about the moose and completed our information page. We have been working to add labels, letters, and words to our drawings.
Reminder:
- Friday is no school for AM kindergarten
- Please send in shoe boxes
- Valentine's Day is Pink/Red day; please send 18 Valentines (if you wish) to the class addressed, To My Friend
- Next week is a short one (Mon/Tues/Wed only) due to Teacher's Convention
