| Brett was incredible today. He read many sentences from his book to the class today. This book sure is a favourite for him, it was clear he reads it every night as he knew every word. Wow, the pictures were awesome too. We loved hearing about knights and castles. Thanks, Rock Star Brett. |
Students settled into learning tables today practicing with their ten frame. They are subitizing their dice roll and placing the corresponding number of manipulatives onto their template. We worked in a math circle to represent dice rolls on the template as well.
Students worked on a journal entry about winter activities. After drawing a picture, students were asked to use their knowledge of letter sounds to write the first letter of a word or to copy environmental print to talk about their picture. Great job, kinders.
We are using a rubric to help give a fabulous Rock Star presentation. Students are working to look at the audience, smile, remember their words and speak in a clear voice.
