BRRRRRR......

Wow, it was a chilly one today, so we did not get to visit our tree today after all. Instead, we looked out the window at other trees to guide our artwork. We stared with a blue wash, leaving the bottom of the page white to represent snow. Then, we tried something new...wait for it.....blow art. So cool. We dropped some watery paint on our page and used a straw to blow the paint to make branches. Such a neat way to create our winter tree artwork.

We reviewed our letters and sounds using actions, rhymes and picture prompts. We reviewed letter Pp and completed letter Bb today. Students are continuing to use letter sounds to begin the writing process.

We have been learning about bears this week. Today we said our poem, reviewed bear facts and completed a guided drawing of a bear.

Have a wonderful weekend and stay warm.
