The Rock Star of the day was Ethan.

Ethan is Canadian and speaks English in his home. He lives with his

Mom, Dad and sister. His Mom and Dad named him Ethan 

because they really liked the name, we do too. Ethan is also named

after his Dad. His middle name is Jesse, just like Dad. Ethan loves to 

go outdoor skating with his family. What a great family, Ethan.

Students completed their mitten art today. This was a multi-step process that included colouring, background snowflakes and painting a blue wash over the top.

 
 
 
 

Today students will bring home their, I can paper. This will let you know what your child can do in relation to the skills we have been building through a variety of tasks. Students will bring this home to share with you.

Our Grade 2 buddies did our story time today by sharing their reader's theatre. We learned about different kind of animals. We heard the story of The Little Red Hen and a story about Arthur getting a new baby sister. Wow, what a great job the Grade 2 students did in sharing with us.
