Magnificent Monday

Our Rockstar of the Day, Harriet.

Harriet's favourite activity is to play with her dog, Parker. She loves to go for walks and play ball with him. Harriet brought in some dog food and treats to share, Parker's leash, and his winter boots. Harriet shared some photos of her and Parker as well. We all fell in love with Parker. Thanks for sharing, Rockstar Harriet. 

 Welcome back to kindergarten after a weekend of beautiful fall weather. Kindergarten were excited to see some new big centers in the classroom. We will be enjoying kitchen, Taka Takas and big blocks. How exciting.

 

 

We began our new learning tables today which are all centered around patterning. We are working to demonstrate an understanding of repeating pattern by identifying, reproducing, extending and creating. Look for stamp patterns in backpacks this week. At the end of the week students will complete a pattern assessment to show what they know.

 

Faboulous fun finding out about the letter Ff. Students brainstormed letter Ff words and practiced letter formation, drawing and labeling. They learned a new rhyme and song as well.
