Rockstar of the Day

Our Rockstar, Sydney, shared a photo of her and her Dad in a very special picture frame. Sydney loves to bike ride with her Dad. Sounds like lots of fun hanging out with your Dad, Sydney.

Kindergarten have been working on comparing two objects based on length. We have been talking about how long, or short, our names are. By counting the letters in our names and representing that number with blocks, we were able to make name towers to compare with our friends. We found a friend with a longer name and a shorter name. Students practiced writing their numerals today and comparing their name length with a partner. 

Students enjoyed learning tables, circle time poems, songs and subitizing. We had gym today which was lots of fun moving in space safely and playing tag.
