TECHNOLGY TIME
Working with spring pictures, students put their fine motor skills to the test cutting and glueing. Students wrote matching numerals after counting items on their graph. Students began to compare quantities, they had the opportunity to discuss which was more and which was less.
SPRING GRAPHING
As we put our imaginations to work creating and building, students invented habitats for animals using loose parts, lego, blocks and small containers.
LOOSE PARTS BUILDING
We welcomed our new fish, Goldy to our class. Students enjoyed colouring an under the sea picture with fish that are not pets. They were able to leave their colouring momentarily to participate in guided reading with their teacher.
FINE MORTOR MASTERPIECE
We are continuing our work with representing and describing numbers. Today we completed work with the number 6.
Today we took a close up look of Goldy. Students explored and experimented with new words associated with our interesting new Betta fish. We identified her special features and labeled a diagram of a Betta fish.
The opportunity to have an outdoor fresh air break was fabulous.
