Police Help In Our Community

Today was such an exciting day as Police Officers came to visit our class. They shared all about how Police help in our community.

We learned all about their special tools they use every day:

  • pen
  • notepad
  • cell phone
  • radio

We learned that Police worked hard for their badges and they work hard to keep us safe. They shared all of the Police vehicles: Tactical, Horse, Motorcycle, Car, Truck, Helicopter and vans. We learned they always wear helmets and use their 5 senses to do their job. Thank you Constable Gemma and Constable Kari.

Wyatt enjoyed sharing the plants that he grew. He imagined a garden and flowers so he decided to grow his own plants. His Mom emailed photos so the class was able to see the planting and growing process. Such an exciting building project. We loved learning that you can build and imagine anything-planting is building. Way to go, Builder Wyatt.
Sophie enjoyed sharing her house she build out of Lego. It was filled with people and other items. Students enjoyed sharing their ideas about her colour choices. Sophie built a bigger version at home an we were able to share photos with the class. Everyone was amazing at how big the Lego creation was and were especially impressed with the luxury bed. Way to go, Builder Sophie.

Happy Birthday to our PM friend, Evan
