Today was a most exciting day! Students were place in their official Kindergarten classroom. I am delighted to welcome my new Kindergarten Class to New Brighton School.

Students attended their very fist assembly at New Brighton School. Mr. Murphy welcomed new staff and read a story to the students. Thank you Mr. Murphy.
After an outdoor fresh air break, students enjoyed settling into their new classroom and completing a Rainbow Names activity. Students enjoyed tracing their names and using colours of the rainbow. Practicing printing their names at home is an excellent way to prepare for our week ahead. Try using paint, loose parts, felt markers, toys or fun food to make the letters in their name. Try mixing up their letters and having them put them in order as they say each letter.
Center time was a hit! Students enjoyed meeting new friends and working cooperatively together.
Looking forward to an incredible week ahead. Can't wait to meet all of the parents!
