Last Thursday in Kindergarten

Everyone enjoyed their very last Thursday in Kindergarten. The drew their summer tree and talked about the seasons and how the tree changed. We talked about how we dress in different seasons and how animals adapt.

We reflected on our favourtie moments in Kindergarten and students drew a picture and wrote a sentence about their favourite thing(s) about Kindergarten.

Yesterday PM saw the Grade 4 Celebration of Learning and today AM Kindergarten had the opportunity. It was very exciting to learn about the history of Alberta.

PM Kindergarten participated in the Garden Party and learned about plants in Alberta. Thank you Grade 4 students.

Our walk to the pond and picnic at the park did not happen today due to the weather. Not to worry, we had a class picnic snack today in our classroom. We did enjoy an afternoon with our buddies. How fun to read a book together and then show them our centers.

Friday June 21 is PM kindergarten. By popular request we have declared a beach day. Students are invited to wear shorts, hats and sunglasses. 

Looking ahead;

• Monday: sports day (AM/PM kindergarten will have the opportunity to participated (please have your child sunscreened before they come and send along that water bottle)
• Tuesday is PM kindergarten last day of classes
• Wednesday is AM kindergarten last day-11:45am dismissal
