Today Kindergarten enjoyed learning tables where they worked with representing the number  9 and completing a writing task of first, next and last. Students will rotate through each table throughout the week.

Students continue to work on connecting letter sounds to make words. Kinders drew a picture and used words to describe what was happening in their picture. After sharing with their teacher, they copied their sentence using spaces. Way to go.

Ryker shared his love of Pokemon and Lego combined to make the perfect creation. Ryker built Squirtle out of Lego. It took him a long time and it was hard to do, but he read the instructions. His classmates were excited to see his drawing that was completed step by step-very cool. Students asked about the strength and damage Squirtle could do. How awesome to share this amazing Lego. Way to go, Builder Ryker.

Brielle was eager to share her creativity in making a flower pot garden with her Nana. She had to dig and put in dirt. The flowers are all small but will get bigger and grow. It was fun to put it in a pot. Students liked the colours and the different types of flowers she picked. They look great and we are all so excited to imagine how beautiful it will be in the summer. How creative to build a garden. Way to go, Builder Brielle.
