OOps, it's Thursday

Today we enjoyed this wonderful book. Students loved the creativity of creating amazing new ideas with 'mistakes'. Students began with a blob or smear of paint and created some incredible pieces of artwork.

TOP BANANA

Liam shard his Lego creation of a boat. He used a building guide to build it all on his own. It took him 7 days all by himself. Students were excited to see how doors opened up, how the Ninjago character came out and how there were even flames on the back. Everyone was very impressed Liam was able to build all on his own. Way to go, Builder Liam.

Rebecca shared her painting skills with the class today. She imagined that everyone needed to know where her room is located in the house and who's room was behind her door. She painted many coats of purple paint on a wooden 'R' to place on her door. She was excited to share the painting process with her classmates. Student were impressed with her skills and excited to think about painting their very own letter. Students asked her many questions about how she did such a good job and how did it hang on her door.  Very cool, Builder Rebecca.

Upcoming:

  • tomorrow is AM kindergarten (no school for PM students)
  • AM kinders will potentially venture to the park tomorrow (pending reasonable weather)
