Both AM and PM enjoyed invasion games in their Phys. Ed class with Ms. Nanavaty. This wonderful weather has the kids very excited about playing outside and riding bikes and scooters.
Students used their imaginations to envision our class pet, Goldy, living in an ocean home. What would be around her? What other animals would be around? Who would be her friends? Where would she sleep and hide?
- there would be stingrays (Piper)
- maybe sharks chasing her (Brix)
- an octopus (Solveig)
- some fish, like Nemo-so a clown fish (Zoey)
- a whale-a humpback whale (Wyatt)
- there would be coral (Anya)
- lots of seaweed (Owen)
- some rocks (Taylor)
Students completed a drawing and written work to share their ideas. Students are encouraged to use our sight words in their writing, use environmental print and sound out words.

The #7 is very exciting. Students demonstrated their ability to represent numbers using tally marks, dice, number lines, fingers, ten frames and pictures.
Listening to the story, Rainbow Fish, taught us all the value of sharing. Students imagined Goldy swimming with Rainbow Fish. (AM) Tomorrow PM will share in this story.
