What does our pet look like?

STORY TELLING NIGHT IS COMING




What Kind of Pet Should We Get?

Today, AM discussed how a cat looks and identified its characteristics and physical features. As a class we used sticky notes to record our ideas about what a cat has and how it looks. Students used visuals to determine the physical characteristics. We used full sentences to describe a cat. 




Students worked in a partnership to explore familiar animals and their characteristics. They drew and wrote their ideas using their visual research tool. Students shared similarities and differences. They presented their findings to their class using full sentences to share. (ie: A hamster has whiskers).

PM Students practiced their teamwork skills while recording their ideas with pictures and words.
