Marvelous Monday

Students were welcomed back to a short week. The excitement is very high as students look forward to Valentine's Day. We spoke about ways to show kindness to others. Sharing special Valentine's is a way we can show we care and that everyone is special. Students used sticker, glue, tissue paper, and felt markers to create their very own Valentine bag to collect Valentines tomorrow.

Kindergarten students will have the option of delivering valentine cards to their classmates on Tuesday, February 12th .

Prior to this date, all students will participate in making a personalized mail bag to collect Valentines cards.

Please note, making or purchasing valentine cards is an optional activity.  If you choose to send your child to school with Valentine cards, please ensure they have a card for each student in the class. As per New Brighton guidelines, no candy or food items of any kind are to be distributed at school.

                     Mrs. Johnston AM: 19 students
                     Mrs. Johnston PM: 21 students

To make for easy delivery of cards, please ensure that cards are addressed, To My Friend, rather than using names.

Kind regards,
Mrs . Johnston

Students were excited to participate in new centers today.

AM and PM both enjoyed Phys.Ed and Mr. Stockton. That made for a busy kindergarten time. We look forward to Valentine exchange tomorrow and another Mr. Stockton.
