Talk About A Terrific Tuesday

Students explored their new learning tubs today. Ipads offered the opportunity for students to explore literacy and numeracy through interactive and educational apps. As we explore animals and practical pets students worked on fine motor skills through colouring pets. Snakes and ladders is always a fun way to apply subitizing skills and counting. Our last learning tub allowed students to work with sentence strips to reacreate our, I'm a Snowflake, poem.

Jeff Stockton engaged our AM and PM classes with imagination and magical stories. We look forward to imagining the end to the forest story he began today.
Today we worked on the letter Rr and did a guided drawing of a rabbit. Great job, kinders!
Ryker, Rebecca and Zoey share their letter Rr work.

Andy, Emma and Mason share their drawings of a rabbit.
Students continue to represent numbers in various ways: numeral, word, tally marks, five frame, fingers, dice, items, and addition sentences. Today we represented the number 4.
