We began our day by having a community circle to catch up on how things have been going the last couple of weeks. Students had an opportunity to share their ideas and personal stories.
Students recited the poem, I'm a snowflake, and shared their actions. Using the written words for the poem, students identified the rhyming words. We also worked to identify the words, I, am and snowflake. Ask your child to share the poem with you at home.
Students continue to work on their letters, including letter formation and letter sound. This week students will work on the letters Hh and Rr. Today we focused on the letter Hh. Ask your child to write the letter Hh and try to print Hh words using dominant sounds they are hearing in a word.
