Take A Chance Thursday

Today students brainstormed ideas about how to take a chance and help other people. 

AM Ideas:

Cash: I can take a chance and help others by giving somebody food because they don’t have any.

Taylor: I can take a chance and help others by giving a jacket to a person because they don’t have one and this jacket is too small for me so I can give it away.

Piper: I can take a chance and help others by shoveling other people’s path.

Jordyn: I can take a chance and help others by helping someone clean up.

Paige: I can take a chance and help others by helping someone who fell off their bike.

Morgan: I can take a chance and help others by helping shovel someone’s yard.

Wyatt: I can take a chance and help others by giving a present to someone who doesn’t have a toy.

Anya: I can take a chance and help others by helping someone who fell down.

Ryker: I can take a chance and help others by helping carry groceries.

Celtie: I can take a chance and help others by helping shovel.

Ryder: I can take a chance and help others by making a snowman and a gingerbread house.

Landon: I can take a chance and help others by reaching for someone’s shoe when they can’t reach.

Owen: I can take a chance and help others by zipping a coat up for someone, giving food in a food bank, giving food in a sock for warm feet and giving things people don’t have.

Zoey: I can take a chance and help others by making food to give to people who don’t have any.

Andy: I can take a chance and help others by giving people apples because they are healthy.

Cash: I can take a chance and help others by putting toothpaste in a sock for warm feet on the street. I am giving to people who have no stuff.

Lauren: I can take a chance and help others by giving people Christmas presents after shopping because they don’t have any presents.

Afterwards, students drew their ideas working to add detail to their pictures. Details include background and surrounding items to show context, using real colours and experimenting with print. Their work will be displayed on our bulletin board for parent conferences next week.
