First Name Letters!

Today in kindergarten students continued to work with lines. They explored the types of lines that appear in their first letter! We shared ideas:

• my letter is curving around
• I have straight lines
• mine has straight and curves

Students moved through four centers to practice their first letter. Stations included snap cubes, play-doh, rainbow markers and white boards! Ask your child to name their letter and make the sound. Practicing writing their name at home is a great next step!
