AM Kindergarten had a very fun-filled morning. They began their morning with learning tubs and then practiced all of our letters, sounds and phonics actions. We went on a winter walk talking about how animals keep warm in the winter and the changes that happen for them. We talked about how we stay warm in the winter as well. We had a visit with our classroom tree and discussed all of the changes since our fall visit. Outside offered a wonderful opportunity to play in an alternate environment and enjoy the 'warm' weather.
Upon our return indoors, students enjoyed a community picnic snack with their classmates. Students painted the branches and trunk of their classroom tree.
After Music students enjoyed working with puffy paint to show snow on their winter tree. Such a fun mess for everyone.
