Our time with Mr. Stockton was most excellent as students made cookies as a class. Then we heard more of the story about the king and the forest creature.
Students had the opportunity to share their choice of pet they saw in the pet store picture prompt. They were attempting to write the animal they would choose as a pet by listening for and identifying dominant sounds. Next they used drawings to illustrate their sentence.
