Students were welcomed back to school in lots of snow; please be careful as the stairs can be slippery. Students are working hard to zip their own coats and dress in winter gear independently.
This week Kindergarten are creating winter scenes in a hands on playdoh learning table. Using step by step drawing guides, students are creating pictures with background detail. Students are working on creating a number line and problem solving by figuring our what number is missing as they cut and paste. Colouring winter scenes is a great way to pay attention to detail and start understanding how we can create context through details.
We are working on the letter Dd this week.
