PITA HEALTHY SNACK DAY
All kindergarten students loved learning about healthy snack choices and how we get superpowers from healthy food. Students viewed a powerpoint presentation about the Canada Food Guide and what types of food help our bodies grow, be strong and stay healthy. Thanks to our parent volunteers we all got to make our very own healthy pita snack. Wonderful toppings were available: carrots, cucumbers, cheese, hummus, apples, banana and wow butter. The creations were fantastic. All students are coming home with some samples to try with you.
