Students used the rubric to guide their colouring of items in their home drawing.
Tomorrow is Remembrance Day. We talked about how the poppy represents us remembering all of the people who fought in the war. We created poppy fields with finger painting and Q-tips. We created fields of 1, 4, 8 and 10. This also allowed everyone to practice counting up to 10 starting with any number. For instance, start with 4 and count up to 10: 4-5-6-7-8-9-10. We also used our poppy field numbers to count down to 0. For instance: 8. We count down 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
Some excellent work created today.
