Today students had some hands on experience to work with putting numbers on a number line. We made a student number line and practiced putting them in order. We took away numbers and had students explain how they knew what number was missing.

Students had the opportunity to work in a group to created their own number lines. Practicing counting up and down the number line is great practice for home.
PM students had their first buddy experience with our new buddy class in grade 2. They had a chance to read together. AM buddies are coming soon.
PM students had a presentation about Brown Bag Calgary. We learned how students can help kids in our city that don't have a lunch or snack to eat. Our first step will be decorating brown bags to deliver food to kids in Calgary. AM will have a presentation coming up.
Reminders:
- tomorrow is AM kindergarten
- Wednesday November 21 is Pita Day (volunteers have been found, we are full for AM and PM)
