HAPPY MONDAY

 Students were welcomed back to new learning tables today. Students are working on subitzing, modeling numbers on ten frames, writing numbers, using dominoes, and drawing basic shapes.

NEW CENTERS

 We are excited to open up new centers today. Sand table, light tables and puppet centers will provide excellent opportunities for cooperation and new friendships.

This week our letter is Cc. We sang a new phonics song, practiced a rhyme and wrote the letter. Students should now be able to identify and say the sound for the letters: L I T F K J U C. Having your child write the letter and make the sound will be helpful as for early literacy.

AM had a presentation on the Calgary Brown Bag program. We will continue to talk about how we can help people that do not have what they need.
