Winter Wonderland

With the joy of snow comes the challenge of dressing for the weather. Today we worked on taking off all winter wear and storing it safely in your own space so we don't lose anything. Students practiced getting dressed in order of snowpants, coats (zip coat), hat, boots and then last of all, mittens or gloves. Helping your child get dressed independently at home will help them to meet with success at school.

Today we worked on patterns. Students demonstrated their understanding of repeating patterns by identifying, reproducing and creating their own patterns using a variety of materials, including paint.

Ask your child to build a pattern out of blocks or toys. See if you can find patterns around the house on a table cloth or bed sheet. Are there any patterns in nature?

Heads up: PM Kindergarten: we are heading to the park on Friday, October 4. Please dress for the weather.

Scholastic book orders have come home-orders are due my Ocobter 9.

Student Picture Day: October 17
